Andy Ellison works at the BU medical school in Boston where he frequently works with a research-only MRI scanner. Over the past few months he’s been sharing some fantastic animated gifs of his calibration and quality control scans using assorted fruits, vegetables and other plants.

At any given moment, you do not exist. Your body exists, temporary though it may be. Still, you are not your body. You are merely an electrochemical process of your body. The continuity of your separate self is manufactured every few milliseconds by a hunk of warm grey meat between your ears. In the time it takes you to read this sentence, your brain has created you a thousand times, and it has left behind a thousand ghosts of you.

This Oxxford Clothes pamphlet is probably from the late 70s, but it still functions as a list of features of a fine suit. Oxxford themselves still make them this way, and remain one of the finest factory-made tailored clothing makers in the world. Certainly they’re the finest in the United States.
Some of these are more significant than others, but all in all - if you’re wondering why an expensive suit is expensive, this is a pretty solid list.
